Stefanie first came across German as a foreign language
at an elementary school near Hanover.
A new classmate from Afghanistan needed language support.
Volunteering turned into responsibility.

Early practical experience

While at school, Stefanie worked as a private tutor for German and English.
Language, culture and integration were more than just areas of interest early on - they became a task.
This is where a clear understanding developed:

International perspective

As an au pair in Spain and a private teacher of German as a foreign language,
deepened her intercultural competence in practice.
Cultural diversity was not learned in theory, but lived.
Openness and respect formed the foundation.

Academic foundation

Bachelor's degree in "Intercultural Business Communication"
(specializing in German & English, translation).
Final thesis in the field of German as a foreign language:
Third language acquisition - transfer effects from English to German when learning the comparative
Final grade: 1.3
Publication of the thesis.
Academic depth meets practical relevance.

Started as a teacher of German as a foreign language
at private schools, educational institutions and in international companies.
Practice, structure and quality awareness became pillars.

Specialization in the healthcare sector

healthcare sector.

yourtraining was founded by Stefanie Höppner. She herself has been accompanying international nursing professionals on their way to Germany since 2019 - with professional expertise, intercultural experience and genuine closeness to people.
